The ITI dental implant inserted by Dr Barwin Yee is a screw type structure which replaces the natural tooth root. The implant is inserted into the jawbone, where it integrates with the bone, over a period of about 8 weeks. The implants are made of pure titanium, which normally integrates with the body’s tissues without any complications.

There are some basic requirements to assess suitability for implant dentistry. You will require good oral hygiene, normal healing capacity and adequate bone in the jaw, with regard to quality and volume.
